演出《暮光之城：新月(The Twilight Saga: New Moon)》的克莉絲汀史都華（Kristen Stewart）在由美國雜誌“Teen People”主辦的的《2009 Teen Choice Awards大獎》星光大道上穿著了 Rock and Republic 這件由許多金屬迷你短劍鑲成的短裙，乍看像是歐洲古代的鎖子甲一般，充滿了強烈的搖滾風格，與她本人的氣質與白皙膚色也相當地搭配。

Rock and Republic 是屬於世界最成功的流行丁尼布(註*)品牌之一，以及奢華生活市場的支配者，Rock & Republic 之名，與創新積極的設計與美學同義，深受搖滾風格的影響。（品牌介紹文字來自 iGoogle）

註：丁尼布，一種先染後織的厚質棉布，也就是我們平常所稱的丹寧布（denim）。

About STYLE LOOKS

STYLE LOOKS is a source of fashion snapshots from real people(street snap), and we try to catch the fashion icons born in corners of Taiwan or whole world. Our aim is make the best fashion visual arts with these photos and display the true fashion tastes to everyone.

The project was first created in summer 09 by Jeter Chou, Jamie Lo, Dylan Lee, Calvin Hung, Leo Cheng and Tim Tseng. As an blog to broadcast the contemporary fashion images on the street, authors are photographers from worldwide, they are also artists and designers.

In STYLE LOOKS, we hope you will enjoy the style of contemporary popular fashion, and a wealth visual arts feast, we are also glad to see you join us if you are really interesting in this project, We’d be welcome to have you in our team!

STYLE LOOKS 是一個提供街頭流行實地拍攝作品的空間，我們期望從攝影美學的角度去捕捉發生在台灣甚至是世界各地角落的流行符號，透過鏡頭與取景的演譯，除了呈現當代最真實的時尚品味以外，其中衍生出的視覺藝術，也是我們希望能夠傳達給閱聽大眾的部份。

於2009年夏季由總召集人Jeter Chou和 Jamie Lo以及Dylan Lee, Kai Hung, Leo Cheng等所共同創立，以部落格網站的形式，不定期發佈有關時下流行的街頭映像。作者群是來自世界各地的攝影師，大多數都身兼藝術工作者或是設計師。

我們冀望你能夠在 STYLE LOOKS 享受到當代的流行風格以及豐富的視覺藝術饗宴，同時我們也很樂意你加入我們的行列，前提是你對我們的專案真的很有興趣，我們會非常歡迎你加入我們的團隊。
